Bytheriver
Any update - according to the EA charts levels are now falling & looks like the Repps Gauge is back up after being missing for a while. Todays almost continuous rain may have some effect for a day or so
Ray
The trend does appear to have started back down, I agree about today's rain though. I was at Sutton today by car and the water was up to the workshop door! I've been looking at data for Barton as a guide - https://check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk/station/6216
Andrewcook
Hi Ray I was told By Richardson's Staff member that they don't Flood up there so easily as I can only imagine because of the varst Barton Broads take up the extra water before reaching Sutton / Stalham
Ray
That sounds right Andrew, sometimes though there is just nowhere for all that water to go. The high spring tides cause locking and lots of rain adding runoff and up the levels go! Not usually a problem in the summer months though luckily π
