hi all,

mikeyboy here,

currently without a boat but hopefully something suitable will turn up soon.

I live in Melton Mowbray,but lived in Martham as a kid,

I have always enjoyed coming back to Norfolk ,and more recently have rented broads cruisers .

im currently searching the brokers and classified adverts for a nice Broom 30 but they seem thin on the ground(water)at the present time,

I did go to view one at Thorne near Doncaster at the weekend,

I was a bit disappointed that the boat was clearly overpriced with a lot of rotten internal wood and bilges full of rainwater,even the broker agreed the vessel was £10k over,given the work needed.

anyway rant over

I’ll keep popping in to keep up to date.

Welcome from Katie and me , good luck with your boat search , sadly many brokers seem to use old pictures so that when you turn up it isn’t as you envisioned , if travelling a long way to view one it is a good idea to ask the broker if you can face time them whilst they walk around the boat , often saves a lot of heartbreak

I need to see as many examples as I can so I know what to look for,

trouble is,there’s none to view
