Thanks for sharing that, Simon. I suspect people make the mistake of thinking that a boat on a hot day isn't a car so the dog will be OK.

And of course a life jacket can make a dog even hotter which is why I don't use one on the dog, a harness is much cooler and can be hooked if needed to get an errant hound out of the water.

Know your dog I suppose. Some cannot, do not swim. A lifejacket for some is so important.
