jeffbroadslover
Just checked and it seems that the youngster at Norwich has no new home to go to as it is back at its birthplace. Jeff
marshman
I initially they will go back to the nest quite often as the adults will still bring food, and quite often they sleep there. However after a few days and as they get stronger and more adept at flying they will find other places to rest up and the nest becomes superfluous until next year! As I said earlier, the Norwich female has always been a bit "odd" since she arrived 2/3 years ago and I think they take the view that it not worth the risk disturbing them to ring the chick. Don't think they did it last year either.
