End of Season Retirements

Hi Folks

 

The news about Herbert Woods taking on 30 of Le Boats P&H craft and Le Boat pulling out of the Broads made me think about what else may be being retired at the end of the year to make way for new craft etc.

 

A bit of an availability search makes it look like at Richardsons the following are going:

Moon Quest

Broadland Apollo

Some Broadland Lass

Royal Gem

Radiant Gem

and the odd one within a class looks to have gone recently (Saturn/Astral etc)

 

So there's the Cirrus, Countess & Continentale craft that Herbert Woods haven't taken on that will be off on a lorry to somewhere else again.

 

Does anyone know what other ones might be nearing their last season on hire or any other changes?

I believe George smiths are selling off their bounty 28's if that counts.

I'm not sure but I think summer craft are letting one go. Royalls have sold one of the commander class as well as velvet one..

changing the topic a bit , there is an addition to the fleet on its way, you will see it in the brochure soon, I guess I should find the thread and post this there, although I cant tell you about it just yet

_{It doesn't surprise me Royal Gem is going as I think it's rather tired now. The one that surprises me is Moon Quest as it's not long been refitted so I would have thought it let well. Look forward to more news of the new kit Clive!}

Hi Simon,

Moon Quest was a rented boat,  we did consider buying her but ended up without it in the 2014 fleet, there may be an addition as well as 'Moonraker' but we will see...

Clive it's way past locking doors u need the men in there white coats and the van with bars on the windows !!!!
