Ideas for a Yachtsman Please

Hylander

Recommended Posts

i need to buy a chap , who I know is a keen yachtsman a gift for work he has done for my elderly mother.       Has anyone any ideas of a small gift that would be suitable for a yachtsman please.    As it is from mother I need to keep the cost down but I just wondered if anyone on here would have an idea.   If so it would be appreciated.

Hi M,

That is a tall order, yachting, boating as you know a licence to print money, how well do you know the person?

Do you know what they have in their boat kit.

Have a look on this site for ideas:-

http://marinestore.co.uk/Rope_and_Sail_Repair_Tools.html

The Speedy Stitcher Sewing Awl

at a Price of £12.99 (they do stock them at Jeckelles)

http://www.force4.co.uk/1309/Force-4-6--Splicing-Fid.html

A splicing fid at £4.95 or a larger one at £8.95.

I hope you find something.

Regards

Alan
