Boat Survey

..... The boat is currently out of the water.......

That will save at least a £100 of the cost, but if it's been out of the water for any length of time, it may reduce the usefulness of the hull "moisture level readings".

Surveyors scrape off  a small area of antifoul and use a moisture meter to test the water content % of the glassfibre to assess gelcoat permeability.

Also, any Osmosis blisters usually reduce naturally (temporarily) when a boat is out of the water for weeks or months.

A freshly lifted boat is far more revealing, worth bearing in mind.

Hiya SteveandDeb,

Just to add my quick comment. It's quite possible, in fact highly likely, that you could end up paying a more for your boat when buying from the Broads, as opposed to buying elsewhere. But, I suppose it's all relative really, it depends on what you get for your money. Good luck to you both, and hope you get your boat, I'm so glad I bought mine.
