Bridge Stores, Potter Heigham

Just been chatting with SWMBO and she asked if I had found out anything about Bridge Stores at PH being closed when we visited at the end of September.

 

I cannot remember if this had been mentioned before but does anyone know anything?

It was closed in April when we were first there and still closed in September.

All the stuff was still in but it looked like it had been closed all summer.

It was closed at Easter and in August....

My wife said that she could see the freezer near the door was still full.     I have a feeling the contents may be a little out of date by now ! 

 

Having said that, I can't imagine that the electric would still be on if the place was up for sale.

 

When we were down last year my wife commented on the shortage of stock on the shelves even though it was open then (October time).

 

Hopefully someone has bought it who would like to see it back to what it used to be years ago.

So if you had just bought this shop, what would you do with it, perhaps giving some latitude with planning permission?

If the sale includes the parking at the rear of the building  I would say for 100k that they got it cheap.

The rear parking was sold off ages ago.... All the stock and equipment has now been cleared out.

I've heard that it may become an upmarket gift shop !!!!! good luck with that one.
