does any one other than me have problems with BA

Please help me out here,

 

To save me reading posts two or three times, could we stop using the abbreviation BA.

 

As Griff has joined with Broad Ambition, and we have freds with The Broads Authority mentioned, I sometimes get confused.......

 

Why is Broad Ambition getting moaned at, and when did Griff take The Broads Authority on the Thames....

Hi Donnygeoff,  I came across the same quandry when I first started posting with regards to Broad Ambition and the Broads Authority.

 

So I came up with the following solution which most forumites seem to quickly get the jist of

 

Abbreviation BA = Broads Authority

 

Abbreviation 'B.A' = Broad Ambition

 

It works for me.

 

And why am I getting moaned at?

 

As for taking the BA on the Thames - well I did - I had an in date BA river toll on 'B.A'

Now "BS" isn't really PC, and by PC I mean Politically Correct as opposed to a Police Constable who might just be working on his Personal Computer. The only answer to this is to stop this modern trend in using abbreviations, and we need to stop it PDQ (IMHO) lol!

When in my previous post I mentioned BS (broads sailors) it has now become evident that some may have read this as brain storming, not wishing to cause confusion in my posts, I will refrain from using abbreviations with immediate affect.
