Hylander
We just caught the end of an episide of the above programme on Gold this afternoon. It looked very much like it was filmed on the Broads and it looked like Womack. Has anyone any idea of where this episode was filmed? Gracie
Hi Monica Iv'e had a chat with my mum who loved this programme, apparently there were two episodes filmed on Rivers, one was on the River Thames at Bensons Boats of that she is sure but she's not so sure about the second episode. She thinks there was also an episode filmed at Great Yarmouth but again not absolutely certain. So could be wrong on all counts Lol Grace
webntweb
If it was the episode where Hyacinth thought she was taking a trip on an Ideal 40, it was on the Thames at Benson Boats at Benson in Oxfordshire. Roy
NeilB
They also used a Freeman, again at Benson ! Richos ran the hire boats at the time.
Dan
Yup, Benson Pleasurecraft (where Le Boat & Swancraft now run from). The boat was Benson Admiral 2, which then came to the Broads for a little while as Jamaica, from Horning Pleasurecraft & Stalham for a very short spell Dan

BroadScot
Your knowledge never fails to astound me, Dan. Agreed Andy, he should change his screen name to Dan the Boaty Man Iain.
GeoffandWendy
Agreed Andy, he should change his screen name to Dan the Boaty Man Iain. He could even name his boat "Hyacinth"
