Timbo
I've started work on rebuilding Royal Tudor's website and started resizing and sorting photographs, yet never once wondered exactly where the following photographs were taken. Mid season and Nigel will be up to his eyeballs in work so I wondered if any of the eagle eyed forum members might have an idea. Both photographs were provided by Nigel Royall and both were taken in the 1960's...but from where?
JennyMorgan
Have a chat with Alan Royall, absolute fund of information.
Poggymale
The second one looks a bit like the old shop at Womack water but it could also be Wroxham or Horning but I wouldn't expect the water to be so calm there unless it's down one of the dykes which it could be at Wroxham in particular. Their first one could be the same but the height it's taken from is confusing & they didn't have Drones then. Great photos and love how the dog is also posing! jeffbroadslover
The second photo could be as they were leaving the boatyard heading towards the Bure. I seem to remember a willow tree next to the old house which faced the river just in Daisy Broad. The name Iolanthe comes to mind but I could be wrong.
