Yea ha - another 4yrs peace of mind

Boat has just passed it's BSS this morning so a good start to the weekend for me.

Used Will Kirby down in Brundall and he is a very nice and knowledgeable chap - would recommend him.

I used him as I know he had worked on quite a few boats of the same make as ours so guessed he might have an idea of how to get to stuff!

Just have to put half the boat back together tomorrow now, but I might have a beer or 2 while I do it.

We have used Ian Jennings for our last two BSS inspections. We are ok until September 2017.

It must be a weight off your mind that you have four years of blissful grace.

Worst part on my boat is access to the fuel lines!! Just have to put the bits back I had to remove to get to them - it isn't that bad a job to be honest, but got to complain about something!!

The bss test is just a snapshot in time.  You may not need another test for four years,  but dont ignore servicing and your own checks.

Don't worry plenty of time and money gets spent on all those other things and I do like my safety. Especially all the things they dont check!

Aye Mark, you canny beat a guid swearing to get things done!  The beer will taste so much sweeter next weekend on board.

Just had ours and passed ,which was good to know that things were ok especially the gas although we have a bubble tester which we use constantly , it is nice to have all the pipes inspected for peace of mind.Tim Waters did ours nice guy and knows his boats ,would recommend .Roy
