  5. I also have a stockpile of books I would love to swap too. Will bring them along. Perhaps, we could do this on Friday evening?? I would think Lydia has a few too. Good idea Tammy
  6. If anyone is thinking of doing anything with the junior salty bottoms whilst at RNSYC, the cinema and roller skating are within easy walking distance. The cinema is a Hollywood cinema, so you can check their website for film times, not state of art like Norwich but a screen and seat!!
  7. Hi Mark Great to hear you had a good run before next weekend. I imagine that will help Sharon's confidence. Serenity is looking very shiny and loved. The magnetic pull of the Breydon posts is amazing . Look forward to hearing all about it over a drinkie at the weekend. Suz
  8. Ian - are you going to book this in advance, as it is going to take some organising for them. Thanks, if so.
  9. What time is everyone planning on arriving at OB on the Friday? We thought we might stay at WRC on Thursday evening and try out their new showers, breakfast, etc on Friday morning.
  10. Thanks Martin, enjoyed reading that and lovely pictures.

  12. Our daughter is 11 going on 21 . We may also have our 15 yr old son and his 16 yr old girlfriend with us, not sure yet.
  13. Hi Wayne Teenager - boy/girl, what age? We have a mixed bunch meaning us, Mariotech, Senator, Happy Jax and M Bird.
  14. Hi Ian When you try and confirm spaces with them, can you ask them whether it will be OK to do an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids in the grounds or the clubhouse if the weather is inclement please. Also, is there a large screen TV, said beasties could watch a film on whilst drinking bar bought fizzy drinks and pop on the Saturday evening whilst we chill in the bar without them
  15. Ian..... you really shouldn't have posted that. I have only just finished nagging LB into submission in terms of polishing the bling. You have now given him an escape route duh!
  16. The boats are all going to look great in the Yacht Station on Friday, all shiny and clean It will be a different story by Sunday evening when our botties are salted
  17. Apologies David, I assumed Bonny was a dog...
  18. Fab!! It is something we do every year when we are at home and, it will just give them some fun in what is, after all, a weekend designed for 'our' fun!!! I also wondered whether there is a big screen TV/DVD unit somewhere inside and whether they could have a film night (with drinks and crisps purchased from the bar ) on the Saturday evening, whilst we all enjoy some P&Q in the bar
  19. Sniffer dogs will be designated as cheating and any wins found will be confiscated by the adults
  20. You may be surprised with Jack, Tom (who is now 20) still wants to join in for the egg hunt at home . It tends to create competition for the older ones if the little ones are given a head-start! The temptation of a bag full of eggs can sway many teenagers Breme eggs.... are they new this season ... do they have fishy interior Yep, a fiver sounds to good me.
  21. Hi all We are really looking forward to this, can't wait! Many of us have young ones with us, so I was wondering whether it would be possible to lay on an Easter Egg Hunt for them on Easter Sunday morning or egg painting or both? We could all agree (those with children) to spend X amount on small/mini eggs and if the weather is fine, hide them around the grounds of RNSYC or if inclement, I imagine the RNSYC would be happy for us to hide them inside? I just think it may also make the weekend a little special for them too. I obviously don't know whether everyone allows their kids chocolate and it would only be fair if it is fair to all of them. So, if not maybe some egg painting or any other suggestions. What do you think? Will we have time before getting our bottoms salty?
  22. Hi Clive Fantastic pictures, thanks. Where are the houses were your grandad is shown? If you don't mind my asking? Thanks.
  23. Hi Ian... just got in and read this...two possible suggestions...Northgate Marine Volvo or what about Jeckles the Chandlers in oulton Broad...I know they stock some "international" stuff. I am not going to be up that early tomorrow (working late), but if johnathan has no luck at GMS if you can find out if either of these two have it (whilst I am in slumberland), I can go pick it up for you tomorrow afternoon. b rgds LB aka adam... : : :
