  1. Hi Ian I have no idea and LB is at a wedding fayre until around 11pm this evening..... We will try to help if we can.
  2. I believe that Brooms and Goodchilds are the same price generally.
  3. WRC is the closest to OBYS although more expensive than Brooms or Goodchilds, so if you get chance before it may be worth mosying up to one of those Trev.
  4. Looking good Hope the kitchen at home looks pucker too and will want piccies So when do we get the 'royal invite' Perhaps, the Salhouse meeting
  5. Looking good Luke. I would have recommended you to LB, however, you could eat your dinner off his engines. Shame he doesn't pay the same attention to detail when he cooks in the kitchen...
  6. Hi Carol This thread has got so long, it may be worth re-posting the picture on each new page so peeps can find it easily....
  7. The dog is learning fast.... That is so good to know, thank you Clive
  8. Hi Ian I meant to also say Ipswich waterfront is lovely and has some great restaurants having eaten in a couple of them already.
  9. Hi Ian We know duh! Has anyone been on one of these before or know anyone who has?
  10. The final picture looks like she is far too big and wide for the broads, bearing in mind the amount of traffic you are putting on them Rather relieved that most of them stay ooop north Fantastic thread, thanks Clive.
  11. That would be great Perry, thanks. I imagine that is where they are intending to moor us. We are seriously considering it as we are unable to get out in the summer when the SB's do. Would be good to see some other forumites going along as well.

  13. Probably, completely wrong but they look like they would put furrows for seeds into the ground. It also looks to me like a man and a woman, rather than two men. Love this thread Carol, please keep going. Another who loved medieval history and pre-1900's and got completely turned off in later seniors.
  14. You must breathe heavier than Adam, cos our windows didn't get too steamy at all...
  15. Thanks everyone. This weekend was a big relief for both of us. We had such a bad time with Jupiter on several occasions and, it nearly put us off completely. We started deliberating towards the end of last season as to which way to go. Whether to give up on the idea of seagoing and go for a broads cruiser or go slightly bigger and see what the difference was. Finally deciding to try bigger before giving up; this weekend has gone a long way to restore our confidence. Whereas, before we just couldn't get her to stay level and therefore spent too much time messing with the trims and legs, Sea Hunter just did what it says on the packet, as she should. Phew!!!! Jonny - sorry we were concentrating on steering rather than photographing. We hope someone will get a decent shot of us at Easter.
  16. 7 weeks to go If we are coming back to OBYS on the Sunday, are we booking in again for the night or all doing our own thing?
  17. Hi Trev We met your friend Bob yesterday, lovely chap. Hopefully, he is going to come on the forum and come along at Easter.
  18. I think this is a great idea and opportunity for us all. Thank you John. I suppose the real question is in terms of when it shoud be scheduled... before or after the salty side jaunt..... So, thoughts please.....
  19. You expected no comments I love it HUGE ; just a fraction bigger...... OK enough to have cellar, patio and sun deck We are really looking forward to it too, mostly for the spending the weekend with people we enjoy spending time with. If the weather is decent, maybe those men who received Cobbs for Christmas could test them out on Mark's Lobster???
  20. How dare you, no privileges or food for 7 days....... although I will continue to speak
  21. Oh goodie, this will be interesting. Great idea and look forward to seeing the transformation.
  22. Wonderul thread Bill. Thank you for taking the trouble and keep going!!
