  1. No probs - I'll put all six in, so don't forget to come get them !!
  2. Just been given six 1ltr bottles of 2 stroke engine oil. I don't have any need so if anyone wants some let me know on here tonight and I'll put them on the boat for the weekend. The details are:- Cougar 1350 2XT Bio Synthetic Biodegradable engine Oil is a fully synthetic bio-degradable two stroke outboard engine oil formulated to provide outstanding protection of all water cooled two stroke outboard engines. Is an ashless bio-degradable lubricant especially recommended for use where protection of the environment is essential. Self mixing.
  3. Whilst I would normally agree with you Ian - I think in this instance I would presume that H&S would be politely told to sod off !! While certainly not trying to scare monger, I would of thought that this isn't a common occurance - I wait to be told that I'm wrong, and that would be the reason they are kitted up with the logo's etc, but if its not a common thing, then wearing the uniforms would obviously put a little chill in the willie of a lot of people... as it has ! I had a green poo today - I wonder.... lol !
  4. Surely if something was going on they wouldn't be wearing jackets with "Nuclear" etc on the back ? A statement made in hope, if you know what I mean !! lol !!
  5. Of course that should be "definitely" Oh so picky !!!
  6. Thanks David. I am concerned though - it really takes excessive force to remove the radio. If I screwed the charger onto something, it would rip the screws out !! Ah, just received this email from ICOM:- Luke Having tested a few stock radios, I can confirm that the IC-M35 is very snuggly fitted into the BC-173 charger pod. The tight fit is primarily due to the consideration that the charger pod can be powered on board with a cigarette lighter lead or direct DC connection to the boats battery, with the tight fit it is unlikely that the radio will fall out of the charger in stormy weather. The battery terminals should be unaffected by this tight fit, it is the metal securing tabs on either side of the BC-173 that locate over the ridges on the battery pack, which causes the need for excessive force to release the transceiver from the charger. I would therefore advise pushing these tabs back a little to overcome the resistance that they provide. These tabs are part of the metal base plate, and can be accessed easily by removing the two screws on the base of the charger and removing the plate, allowing you to bend them back a little. I hope this helps. Kind Regards
  7. I bought one of these at the weekend - its a great little handheld and exactly what I need, but I have a little problem... It clicks into the charger fantastic, there's no way it will fall out which is great for our boat - but it is really, really hard to get it out of the charger. I'm sure I am going to break either the radio or the holder shortly... I have sent an email to Icom, but haven't got a reply as yet - so, has anyone else got one of these - am I doing something wrong, or is this how its meant to be ? Appreciate any help as I don't really want to take it back..
  8. Looking forward to the next installment Gav !!
  9. Amazing picture Dave - nice one !
  10. Just a quickie to say that the Lowestoft Airshow is on on the 12th and 13th August if you fancy it guys...
  11. The ones Perry has shown a picture of are here Wayne:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FENDER-FLUTES-FAST-ADJUSTABLE-FENDER-FIXING-/250411001444?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_BoatEquipment_Accessories_SM&hash=item3a4da8a664
  12. These are the ones we use Wayne. If you look at the sellers other items, he also does the guardwire ones.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fend-Fix-xl-Boat-fender-clips-/230489240204?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_BoatEquipment_Accessories_SM&hash=item35aa3ab28c They do tend to break every now and again so worth buying a couple spare.
  13. Through it over the side Ian - who needs milk anyway !!

  16. Jonathon - I just sent an email to Prior Diesel - they do Cummins Mercruiser - Is this the same ? If so, NBM members get 12% discount Hope that helps.... Luke
  17. Would KeyPart be worth a call Jonathon ?
  18. Or maybe not.............................. Sorry Robert.... couldn't resist !!
  19. Totally agree with Mark Dave. I started to have a look for you and got distracted by lifejackets that have gas canisters, but are manual inflate. When you fall in the water, you pull a toggle... I didn't know there was such a thing..... no good if you have bumped you head on the way down, which could easily happen !
  20. Great to meet you guys Gav and Ann - great company !! Yes Mark, we had a good bit of fun with "Coastal Voyager" although you had to feel sorry for its occupants... While we were bombing down to Southwold, the skipper saw us and came up close - after a wink and a nudge he showed of his amazing boat handling skills on the rib finishing with the whole boat being absolutley covered. The kids on there were completely drenched. At some points he was only a foot or two off Relentless ! My only job was keeping it perfectly straight. He was some skipper !! Once into Southwold we moored up against Gav and Ann (the wrong way round of course) and soon got into the spirit of things with Tracy topping up the glasses !! The next morning we bought some 'very' fresh fishy bits from here:- Next time, I will order the lobster !! Claire is really getting into her wildlife photos:- Great weekend as always - looking forward to the next one !
  21. Sunday morning at this site looks ok Mark:- http://magicseaweed.com/Lowestoft-Surf-Report/19/
  22. Hi Jonathon Unfortunetly not, just valise. I'm not sure of the age, I reckon about eight or nine years old, but the cover is in good nick. I wouldn't of bought one normally, ie. second hand and a bit older than I would of liked, but these guys know what they are doing and it came with a certificate so I'm happy about the quality. I had to wait a week as they serviced it to order. Not sure if they have any left, but worth a call if you need one...
