  4. Ah You!!! When a card is put in the electrics know that card is only valid for 24 hours.

The broads I think could do with a lot more electricty points with modern boats having more and more electric gadgets, and particually those who like to cruise in winter and need to leave heating on all night. I know personally I can get by on 50-60p per night which I think is very reasonable. Now how to fund them, surely it would not be that difficult to fit in the electronics a device that notes the time when the card is inserted, bearing in mind all broads authority moorings are 24 hours, and exactly 24 hours later reset the point to zero, hey presto with a lot of people they would gain all the left over credit to help pay for the posts. This would also put a stop to those who cruise the broads going from mooring to mooring using the accrued "free Credit",

  10. Had a lovely night out last night at the New Inn Rockland Staithe, excellent beer, food and Landlord and Landlady well worh a visit. We were the only boat moored up but the Pub was heaving they had a band on. Took a few photos of the river this morning now all I need is Trevor to post them

  12. my Glomex was as much use as a chocolate fireguard untill they boosted the digital signal now I get perfect service all over the broads (including Loddon basin)

  16. Its been a long time since I've done any Gardening, but as I recall there is a cold start button on the fuel pump which needs to be pressed to allow excess fuel for starting in cold weather. Hope this helps. Bob
  17. I have B T Broadband at home and remember seeing somewhere about signing up to a system whereas I can log onto any B T hub anywhere providing I sign up to it, does anyone know about this who could help? Bob
