Such sad news. Please send our condolences to Auntie Pat.

We have tried 3 times to eat there and every time it was closed. They seem to have some strange opening times.

4 grandchildren are now onboard with the overflow ( boys )housed in the accommodation barge ( Shetland ) alongside.
I think we are going to need a bigger boat. 😇
The Bibby Stockholm is still available.

The second question I raised was, I admit, a bit vexatious. I noticed on my ordnance survey map (leisure 40) that the Broads Authority area includes a significant amount of the North Walsham & Dilham canal. Would that be considered a navigation?
That’s privately owned I believe.

Funny how suddenly more information makes the opening post more questionable.
Now I have a selection of questions. Firstly, agreeing that planning rules need to be adhered to, should the BA be a planning authority?
Second, if the BA has responsibility for navigation within it's boundaries, and a navigation is not at all navigable, what is the BAs responsibility for that navigation?
And yes, I do have reason for asking. :-)
It isn't just the BA that refused the planning application but also the parish council, unfortunately where a property borders a stretch of navigable water it also has a say.
Yes I would expect the BA to keep all water navigable as long as there is a history of it.

No it is residential, they have lived there many years.

Yes they have but illegally it would seem.

The bakery has been seeking planning permission for some time through the proper channels, only the BA know why they refuse reasonable requests that threaten nothing and allow others to abuse the system including themselves at How Hill.
Fred
Could it be that the property only has holiday let approval.

The BA have given the bakery at Womack notice it must close due to breaching planning regulations. Such a shame as they make very tasty bread and cakes.

Nice one, Tvmom.
Some cracking questions there
Re Q17 - Tbh - Not a scooby but suspect it wasn't me, either Craig or Walter?
Griff
No it was you. At least that was what I was told but like you we never seem to come anywhere near the top.

I thought Goodwind went to France with Little Ships

As I no longer live in Norfolk I had trouble replacing my flogas bottle at Catfield.

Had a trip up to Coltishall today and the weed is everywhere. Just spent the last 1 1/2 hrs cleaning out the raw water system

Your fridge should cut out before you do any lasting damage to the batteries.

Greater Anglia has had to remove all the disabled decals from their trains as people complained that were being singled out.

It’s not just the phone signal Horning residents are suffering. We have been without electricity for the last 15 hrs.

Maybe the owner is missing a trick. Some of these projects on you tube make quite a few quid from the channel. That could pay for a few nice upgrades.

I had heard the booster was on the sailing club but I might be wrong. All I know is nothing works now on my mooring and I have to drive to Wroxham to make a phone call.

We spoke to a couple on a basic Ricko’s boat last weekend and they paid more for 4 days than we have all inclusive in Lanzorote. Not much of an incentive to holiday here.

I see Barnes Brinkcraft are offering a 10% discount for August. Things must be slow this year.

It got towed to Loddon but sadly was to far gone and ended up being broken up.
