  1. Ok....confused now. Was the above typed wrong.......or is the profanity filter now off? Kev
  2. hehehe Love it that Scunthorpe is a victim of the site profanity filter because of the four letters in the middle Wondering now about shitake mushrooms, penny farthing bicycles and tetanus.
  3. Yep.....Malwarebytes. I'll endorse that one.
  4. Watch this though and you will never moan about the rivers being busy during the summer again. Wow!! Kev
  5. hehehe I love it that a Scot is translating English for us
  6. Oh I do too. Just thought it was interesting that there was a Norwich version at all. You've been elected Chief Executive of the Broads Authority.....collect £50 from each player. :
  7. In the Norwich Monopoly version (yes, there really is a Norwich version! ), the Norfolk Broads is the cheapest property on the board. With some of the hire prices these days, or mooring fees and tolls......thought it would deserve at least a Yellow rating Advancing from Go, clockwise:- Brown - Norfolk Broads (Community Chest) & St John's Alley, (Income Tax) followed by Norwich Station. Light Blue - St Peter's Street (Chance) Norwich Castle & Gaol Hill, followed by Jail in the corner. Pink - Theatre Street (Electric Company) St Benedict's Street & Tombland, followed by River Wensum. Orange - Market Square (Community Chest) Royal Arcade & Elm Hill, followed by Free Parking. Red - St George's Street (Chance) Earlham Road & Riverside Retail Park, followed by Bus Station. Yellow - Norwich Airport, Weston Park (Waste Services) & Carrow Road, followed by Go To Jail. Green - Whiffler Road, The Close (Community Chest) & The Forum, followed by Bishop Bridge. Dark Blue - (Chance) Surrey Street (Bank Deposit) & Norwich Cathedral, Followed by Go.

  9. There's also a 2 night B&B break for 2 for £75 at the Sutton Staithe Hotel for those missing their Broads fix. £105 for 3 nights. http://m.groupon.co.uk/deals/norwich/ga-sutton-staithe-hotel-2/46715550
  10. Jim.....there's no such thing as the wrong weather.......just the wrong clothes.
  11. Before we moved to Norfolk we lived in Hampshire.......and I used to do a lot of fishing on the Basingstoke canal where the signal crayfish were prolific. It was actually illegal if you caught one to throw it back so I regularly used to take them home. A couple of days in clean water to clean them out and then they made for good eating. Poor mans lobster
  12. Great picture ! Autumn is my favourite time of year.....the range of colours is spectacular........and still the odd warm day or two to be had.
