  5. its not at Belaugh it was quite a way before that, I have looked at the map that is sold by many hireboat companies, but cant identify it. It is on the left hand side of the river as you cruise upstream which probably proves Gancanny is correct. I would think we had probably been travelling about 20 mins from Wroxham to get there Ron
  6. Oops looks like I have posted this in the wrong place apologies Ron
  7. Hello Guys On a recent Day Boat outing I photographed this place on my phone, sorry if the pic is not a very good copy when uploaded. It is upriver of Wroxham and is a small staithe with a "24 hour mooring" sign. Can anyone name the place please. Thanks Ron

  12. That Does not sound very good, we had a excellent meal at the Horning Ferry early July.we Did not use the moorings, but spoke to a family who were moored there, they did get a refund. Must add we Did not venture near to the Carvery. The service was slow but that Did not bother us too much.
  13. Hello Roy and Diane, thanks for the welcome message, hope you are getting this lovely sunshine on your side of the Wash.
  14. It sure is, I am 25 miles south of Grimsby between Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe. Have had some good times on the Humber Bank plus one bad one. Slipped and fell off the north wall at Bay 18 and spent 9 days in Grimsby Hospital a few years ago, the staff were brilliant. Hope you have a great reunion. Ron

  19. Hello Wussername thanks for the welcome, Being as you are a "Norfolk Man" I am a little envious although to outsiders the grass is always greener on the other side' Would like to see any pictures that could validate your claim as winner of North Allerton Baby Competition if you have any. North Yorkshire is a far cry from Norfolk but I love both places. Ron
