  1. I take you heard the thing on the radio about magic mushrooms the other day then.....
  2. While there's no doubt that plenty have genuine issues that deserve support MM spot on in that we now have so many families desperate for a label so they can screw the system that it makes the system overloaded for those with genuine problems, they are usually the same families with generations living off the benefits system funded by the rest of us. Although social media and smartphones must make being young so much harder than it was for us old gits, I'm very glad to have grown up without it, as an adult I can use it all to a level of my choosing and can brush off the idiots without much of a care but not so easy for a youngster.
  3. I dragged mine out for a little clear out last night, just an hour blasting around local back roads but it felt good, a fresh tank of fuel helped it.
  4. Fishermans at burgh castle probably will also queen's head in the village, ship at reedham. I'll be doing my best to avoid it.
  5. We've got halfway to norfolk and realised we'd forgotten the keys before, luckily there's always a door key stowed somewhere on most boats..... Not saying where, ignition keys are another matter, they are normally stowed safely in the ignitions.....
  6. Is that a tool for extracting decent jokes from a Yorkshire man? You'll need a bigger one!
  7. In light of the previous post I revoke my opinion about changing battery clamps, foc is a good price, especially for a yorkie pud.
  8. This is the gadget I have, fleabay special.
  9. Sorry I should made clear I was referring to the battery clamps in my last post, yes I would run the negative lead to the other end of the bank but wouldn't worry about changing all the clamps. If it's any help I have a hydraulic crimper that could be borrowed but I'm not about this weekend.
  10. I'd keep them as they are, you can still isolate one battery if needed and keep the rest connected as they are, if it ain't broke and all that. Pos and neg posts should be slightly different sizes.
  11. Back on the subject, once fully off 10-30 seconds should do, probably better that just a restart. Other trick is to open settings-> Apps-> your browser-> clear cache (under storage setting on my samsung) Assuming android, know nowt about anything begining with an i.
  12. Just long enough to wash and polish the boat should do it.
  13. But do watch out for the sea monsters........
  14. So do you recon trump will make a good go of it????? (Do not take this post seriously!)
  15. Hi Sean and Ben, do you have a wiring diagram? chances are a couple of well chosen switches will do the same job and just control a remote contactor near the thruster much the same as a windlass, my trip tab control died and cheapest option was £120, 2 mom-off-mom 2 pole switches did the job and including an etched plate to cover the original hole and house the new switches cost less than £20 and looked better.
  16. Had a good day today, managed to make some beer money clipping Grendels hedge......
  17. I hate to say it but ebay bearings would worry me, there's millions of cheap chinese bearings about all with fake packaging and substandard metals, I would go to a reputable bearing supplier (often on the local industrial estate) and specify SKF or similar, they will be standard sizes and possibly off the shelf, same with seals. I've seen bearings you can put in a vice and bend both races and balls, they should shatter.
  18. See previous post about 4k video downloader. Might be less irritating.
  19. I'm very close there Fred although I've downloaded music gigs as well, usually via 4k video downloader so I can save ad free with no subscription and watch froma usb stick at leisure.
