Do think we need to get tough on those that refuse to  get the vaccine, unless there's a medical  reason not too. Most of us through  life have vaccines  for a wide range of illness. Many previously deadly diseases are all but gone due to vaccines.

All in the days before the interweb and social media though Ian.

So 3 steps forward and 2 steps back....

Plan B brings in covid passports for certain venues and working from home advice.

    I would go further!

This will not end until we make vaccination mandatory for access to all services, including work and social activities

For me, if you don't want to take a vaccine, fine, but stay at home, stay safe, don't go to work, but work from home and make sure all purchases are delivered to your door.

    Be confined to your home!

How could that be policed and enforced?

I cannot help but see similarities between the way Schumacher (Snr) used to drive to make a gain by any means possible and the way Verstappen is now doing the same sort of antics.

Hopefully the stewards will see right through it

I have totally gone right off Hamilton with his 'Holier than thow' attitude and 'Preaching' of late but do want him to achieve that eight title if only to put Schumacher in his place behind 'Our' tax evading Brit

    Big difference

  4. That was just too much in every aspect for me. If they are going to race there again then the track needs altering for a start. On driving standards, well, we have seen it all before and that depends on which camp you are in and how you define dangerous driving ie Brake testing the car behind.

On race control and penalties, yes that is a difficult job but what point is a time penalty given out after a race has finished if it doesnt effect anything and on race control making offers to teams, that is a big No No for me.

Poor Charlie Whitting must be spinning in his grave after yesterday and what are the odds on the championship being decided in a court room this year rather than on a race track I wonder.

Just a thought although maybe a bit late in the day: Could we as a forum send them our collective best wishes for the future?

Well they do display the forum logo in the window beside the front doors (were they once a sponsor?) and there are two large cards collecting signatures from well wishers being passed around so I might be able to add to "From NBN" if a moderator gives me the thumbs up.

Much as I have gone right off LH as a person, As a professional driver, yesterdays outing was simply fantastic

    Griff

Understand why you say that with LH getting involved with other things outside of the sport and whilst both Lewis and Max are great drivers I cant warm to Max while he thinks all others are idiots and gobbing off all the time. ie "That`s what you get when you dont give me room!" after parking the car on top of another.

And don't forget that Lewis has now been given a €5000 fine for taking his seatbelt off too early !

With another larger fine suspended! Was deemed unsafe and FIA are fearful those in lesser classes would copy so to me that is fair enough.

Actually, I don't have an issue with pitting for the fastest lap.

If a driver has built up enough of a gap to the next car to allow a pit stop, and wants to take the risks involved - remember they can and do go wrong sometimes - then good luck to them.

Surely it is all part of the tactics ?

I agree, remember Bottas coming in for new tyres and one wheel wouldnt come off so he was out of the race.
