An updated menu woild be nice plus get rid of all that spider sanctury stuff on the ceiling that would be a huge improvement.

Your wish has been granted, noticed it all outside on pallets this week along with crates of glasses but couldnt tell if the glasses were going in or coming out. What with all the outside signs being removed as well something is going on.

I prefer @meanderboatgirl technical description "the skinny prop bits on a moving bit like a outboard" - very much to the point
Yep that works for me as well.

Just looking at thermostats in case I need to buy one.
Peachments for example list about 30 for Nanni engines and all I know is the paperwork says it has a Nanni 50.
How would I identify the one I need if it does need replacing?
Part number stamped on it somewhere perhaps?

Will be for sale soon, 1.8 BMC on shaft. Good chance moorings on southern waters can be arranged if anybody knows of someone who might be interested. Price and photos coming soon.

Looking for help to find a company that works with stainless making rails, plates and ladders etc.
I thought somebody once mentioned a company in Stalham on the forum but I`m unable to find the post.
Thanks.

After much testing Howard declared he had no confidence in the 100 amp alternator, so we removed it. That will be handed in to a company up here in Donny sometime Monday. This being Gods Country and not Norfolk means by Tuesday it will have been tested and the results will decide on the way ahead.
Then BA wrote
After we had the alternator tested up here in Donny and the brushes replaced, Bro opened it up for an internal clean - Horrors - the firm had replaced just the ONE BRUSH - Not happy even less chuffed when Bro' discovered he had not cut / bedded it in either, £30 for ONE brush?
It might have taken a bit longer in Norfolk but at least we know the difference between 1 brush and 2 brushes :)
You know the old saying Buy cheap once, buy twice!

Been there, done that!! Having a mooring in Brundall and having to pass Brian Ward every time we went to the boat proved to be a costly diversion when we first bough Norfolk Lady!! Fortunately, for the sake of my wallet and almost three years on, I’ve managed to learn to look the other way as we pass by now! 😁
Might that be the reason they no longer open on a Saturday.

What exactly could the EU have done to prevent Russia from invading another country 🤔?
I was refering to the hit squads poisoning people abroad where perhaps more could of been done.

Wouldnt be where we are today if the EU had reacted to previous Russian acts stronger instead of slapping wrists.

I think I had better look out my old uniform as well! I always thought the Cold War never ended.
The current situation is way past the cold war.

I was on the coast in 87 in Eastbourne when Sevenoaks became Oneoak, walls were blown down and vans tipped over, sheds landed in neighbours gardens and so on. And I slept right through it!

Found the wind was much worse on Wednesday night and last night was very calm here however I woke up this morning feeling like a baby in a rocking crib.

Was always too much asking one man to do that job imho, even Charlie had a wingman to help.

The whole procedures are to be changed ie No more direct contact to race director, now to be a small team of people involved on race day, changes to rules under the pace/ safety car and yellow flags and something about a man away from the track doing some kind of VAR check.
At least they have owned up to what happened.

Going by the wind today and predictions I woud say that there is no might about it.

Silver Coral is a fwd steer single level boat with sliding roof so less worries about any bridges

When going under a bridge do not be tempted to pop ones head up for a quick look!
