  1. At the moment I dont see how a well designed and correctly maintained electrical system might lead to more running of engines at anti social hours as long as recommended hours of cruising per day are observed seeing as these boats are so new.

You ever been in a glider?

I won't go deeply into the subject (which is important if you are on a 7-hour flight or even longer - especially at my age) but polish gliders do generally come with a "Pee-tube".  Don't fly close behind one.

Much like a Transit van (others are available) tearing up a motorway on a friday afternoon getting the lads home for the weekend after a week away you mean.

Both of my replaced hips are titanium, great until you go through airport security and the alarms go off!

Have a sister with titanium hip and knee to make matters worse she takes capsules of little white homeopathic tablets with her on holiday. We got used to waiting for her to get through security whilst we sat in the bar on the other side.:default_beerchug:

It was for sale, but currently under offer.  Obviously no one is living on it now, however we’ve seen it in various locations on both the northern and southern rivers over the past two years.

I`ll try again. Roy, Waterside Marina may sell boats suitable for living on but they do not permit you to moor there if you decide to live on it.

There’s what I believe was a live aboard currently under offer at Waterside Marine.  I was quite surprised to see it on there when I was looking at the brokers websites a few days ago.

Waterside do not allow live aboards to stay there.

I dont know, was it something biblical, like the heavens opening and a bolt of lightning?

Ah, a little like a current advert running on tv, guy trying to light sticks in the rain and Boom it`s struck by lightning.

Yes you'll see a lot of US vehicles round there, the service folk get them flown out in US-spec and often they are sold locally afterwards so the older stuff is around too.

I believe it used to be the case that they could have them tax and shipping free so it was an absolute no-brainer. Although it's mostly USDM stuff, sometimes you see US-spec versions of cars that are sold here but with their different lighting and trim.

Nice to see the old stuff from the 50`s and the 60`s onwards now and then

  10. Thinking it will ebb and flow all season from one track to the next (pun intended). Had to smile when after the second pit stop Hamilton was 22 seconds behind and told "C`mon you`ve done it before!" like it was a done deal.

What is it with Bottas come race day?

Interesting to see Dawn Supreme, the Bounty 37 in the photo alongside. In my mind, the Bountys arrived a bit later than that but there it is in the 1973 brochure, presumably the photo having been taken well before that season. That means some of those Bountys still in Richardsons fleet must be knocking on 50 years old now.

How? Boats come and go in hire fleets do they not.

at the moment, the A47,  norwich bypass is a nightmare from the postwick flyover  to the A140 junction,  both east and west bound,  they are doing some central reservation work and the traffic is very slow with long tail backs

Might last to August, so I`ve heard and it is down to one lane either side.

If it's the shop I'm thinking of, they may deliver locally. Worth asking.

But of course always a big thumbs up for Swancraft.

They do have a small van so guess it is used for deliveries or google lumberjacks rolling big logs, not sure about going down the steep hill using this method though. :default_coat:
