  1. Sounds like a great idea Ian.
  2. We had a similar problem years ago. We moved.
  3. More likely he treated me like his Mum or Grandma!!
  4. I have to disagree with you on that point. Paul at Swancraft spent ages showing me as much as he could. Floor hatches were lifted, he showed me the fuses, trips, explained the inverter and showed me where it and the batteries were, he even pulled the gas cooker out and checked the connections etc. etc. Then he took me out onto the river and showed me how to moor up. Perhaps it would have been different if we had bought from one of the larger boatyards, I can only tell you how it was for me.

On SkyHawk, we have a kitchen where the rear bedroom is. Lovely boat. The other one on The Broads is StarFire moored at London.

I use Jungle Formula but it doesn’t smell very nice
  17. The NBN forum member has just been with my ’new’ electric outboard. What a very pleasant young man. So all sorted. Just love this website.

True, but Hylander wants shore power
  19. I don’t see how he could have helped with the boat stuck where it was.

I’ve just looked at Swan Radiance on Hoseasons and Richardsons. The boat will not support a nebuliser and in Richardson’s FAQ’s it says you can’t bring any of your own electrical equipment.
  21. All it’s for is crossing the river at Horning possibly once or twice a month. I know everyone meant well and thank you all so much for taking the trouble to reply but I put a lot of thought into it and just wanted something which would do the job. I have been contacted by a member who, hopefully, has just what I need. Again, thanks to all of you.
  22. Hi Chris. I don’t want a pull start and getting petrol on the broads when we don’t have a car would be difficult. Hence the reason for wanting electric. Also as I said before, I won’t be lifting the battery in and out. I will charge it in situ.
