  1. A very Happy Birthday to you Simon/CambridgeCabby. You enjoy your celebratory pint later on, well deserved it is too I am sure
  2. Winter is the best time to be on the Broads in my opinion, as I (pretty much) live aboard it is safe to say I will be spending another Christmas and New Year afloat too. Happy Days
  3. He is a stunning boy YnysMon, I think you have all been very lucky to find each other. I hope everything works out, all the best to you all
  4. So trying to remember what I have just read through I would have to choose Apple Crumble with hot thick custard, although a lovely apple and winter berry crumble is much prefered and I wouldn't turn down the deep filled apple pie that Ranworthbreeze mentioned either Chips can be served with either thick gravy or chip shop curry sauce without complaint from me too
  5. That sounds like a terrifying experience, I am glad you managed to deal with it so competently
  6. I have just finished reading your holiday tale Broads01, as a fellow solo human boater with dogs I enjoyed it very much. I admit I have never hired from Ferry marina but maybe I will in the future
  7. Hello Ray, if you are not wanting any money for your fenders I have been told that zoo's are greatful for fender donations to use as toys for the monkeys and goats and such. Could be worth a call as a different way to recycle your old fenders
  8. What a shame that you decided to go home. I hope that the season's are soon agreeable for you
