Not to mention the lack of direct waterways

I too plan to great detail taking into account the tides etc. We book moorings where it is busy as well as some pubs. I have timings worked out with back ups where necessary. Then apart from the booked places we often deviate. Just enjoy planning, part of the excitement.

Never tried that yet. Leeds Castle is a beautiful place, well worth a visit. Seen a few concerts there in the past. Glad you had a good time.

Good grief Gendel I have never woken up thinking about a macerator before, what were you eating yesterday?

Welcome from me too. Take your time no need to rush. Extra slow and carefull when mooring. Enjoy, we love it.

London to Brighton in four minutes, on every Christmas. Jack Hargreaves was excellent must viewing along with How. The Alhambra is stil one of my favourite pieces of music.

Who remembers Jimmy Clithero on the radio?

It has been edited now.

Ironic that they use the teacher as an example (Quite rightly) and then use "NO" instead of "KNOW" in the penultimate sentence.

When I was nine two of us cycled along the then busy A41 from Eastham to Birkenhead to watch the ferry. we were out all day so often that no one worried, Fishing, Cycling etc. Loved it.

Lovely. Thank you Neil. Not long now.

Welcome from me too.

Lovely place to moor. I prefer it there than the staith. The extra walk past Hunters. We often go the other way and walk to Potters. A few years ago we moored there on a very windy and busy day. Got side swiped three times, nothing serious just other craft taken by surprise. Nice photos. Thanks.

Good write up Neil. Nice to hear that Swallow is looking good we are on her for two weeks at the end of July. Are you going to share the photos please? Glad you are both having a good trip.

I do it that way Grendel. I use my iPad most of the time and having fat fingers I find I go to the last posters info page by mistake quiet often. Not being nosey just can't press the little blue dot first time.

I thought that it would get a rise. Now back to the stock pool.

Agree re the skin so soft for mozzies. Works a treat.

If you keep doing the same thing why act surprised when nothing changes.
If it was not for the protest groups very little would change. Women would still not have the vote etc etc.

We were going to moor at Wroxham and the bloke stood on the front and said "I hope you're not stopping next to me".
That would have been a challenge to me. I would have moored next to him even if I didn't want to. Costs nothing to be polite.
