Brass Threded Insert

I am looking to make a few hobo type fishing kits as a little project, can anyone suggest a suitable insert as the picture to allow unscrewing for access to storage in the handle for hooks, lures floats etc.?

 

I am no good at thread chasing in timber so an insert is the way to go?

Lol certainly is.. it's shops a killer too.. They do demo's on weekends.. Must admit if we had space I'd love to get a small lathe and do small turnings (Thankfully no space though!).
