Talking Movies is well worth seeking out for those of us of and beyond a certain age, some really lovely & interesting stuff.

Couldn't agree more, lots of lovely old black and white masterpieces. Admittedly some of them were probably 'B' movies but entertaining movies nevertheless. Not so sure about 'those of us of and beyond a certain age' though - unless of course that age would be 30.  (I wish!)

If it's from the same source my copy came from then perhaps it's not the best of quality so I'm hoping that the Talking Movies one will be better, just have to wait & see. I shall record it and see.

What a pleasure, far better quality than my DVD and streets ahead of the U-Tube offering. A delightful film that I can only assume has been digitally restored for broadcast.

I notice that Conflict of Wings is being shown on Talking Pictures (Freeview channel 81) again this afternoon at 2.35pm. A perfect way to occupy a very rainy Sunday afternoon!
