Household Cavalry At Holkham

As far as I know The Kings troop do the same.A great trip for the Horses and men.My Grand  Father was In the Royal Horse Artillery,during the first world war.In fact his horse saved his life.He was due to meet up somewhere. His horse would  not move.He later found out where his was going was raised to the ground. Horses run in the family. Alan and Nicola both learnt to ride.Heres a pic of Nicola and her horse Whiz

My Maternal Grandfather was also in the Horse Drawn Artillery in the First War though I do not know which regiment. I think it was probably as a farmers son he could handle heavy horses as that was the only traction they had at that time.
