Vaughan
A great tradition, isn't it? I imagine the King's Troop did that as well, after the Royal Norfolk Show.

ChrisB
My Maternal Grandfather was also in the Horse Drawn Artillery in the First War though I do not know which regiment. I think it was probably as a farmers son he could handle heavy horses as that was the only traction they had at that time.
ranworthbreeze
Hi Chris, My Maternal Great Grandfather was also in the Horse Drawn Artillery but he was in the Bore War, he was a small fiery Welshman and my Grandmother told me that he was not a very nice man as far as the family was concerned.
