Photo Upload Problem

I'm trying to upload a couple of photos to the calendar thread, but get "upload failed". Is there a file size limit? Or what else could it be?

Hi Regulo

There is a maximum file size with the forum although I’m not sure what the actual size is.

you could try reducing the image size and should find it will work.(I know this has worked for a number of members in the past)

I know last year the winning pictures had to be sent in full size through an application outside of the forum to get a high enough quality for printing

I reduced the pics and they uploaded OK. Can't find a photo file size limit referenced anywhere? Probably right in front of me!

I’ve been looking into the technical documentation and can’t find any reference to a file size there either.

but resizing seems to have worked for you

I have just waded through all the forum settings to try and find a setting, but no dice there either, images submitted are reduced to 2000 x 2000 pixels max, but no mention of max size to try and upload.

I found jillR's post regarding photo size very helpful on this. With the pixel size ratio should near enough hit the nail on the head.
