oldgregg
Whereabouts on the system were they, Paul? I've seen a fair few up the Ant and round by Thorpe but never seem to have my camera at hand.

The four different ones in the photos were all between How Hill and Barton Broad, but also saw a couple of others yesterday between Barton and Stalham. 😊
Guest
I'm pretty sure it's normally on the way to and from Coltishall that I see them, gorgeous stretch of river it is too

Gretzky
Often see them on the Ant, upstream from Barton, usually just a blue flash as they fly across the river. Stunning shot, well done.
BroadAmbition
I've seen quite a few of em, regular too. However I will never manage a photo of your quality - Well done (Not jealous - Much) I saw two Bitterns year before last I think it was. I had been waiting 57 years to see 'My' first one then saw two in as many weeks. No chance of getting a photo though. The second one was flying alongside us as we cruised down river past Thurne Mill - I could almost not believe it Griff
