Hylander
I guess working after a fashion. Saw these two specimens. I wonder if they realise they are being watched.
Regulo
The greater spotted British couple. Often seen with drinks in hand. The male is a dull brown, with grey plumage, often displaying his physique to any passing females, especially at this time of year. Older specimens have a rotund protuberation on the front, known as a "belly". The females are usually more brightly coloured in places, but again show an overall brown colouration. Males will ignore the females constant demands for attention, only submitting to their needs after the females have provided them with food, or other "comforts". 2
