Equally sure he is not on Albion - lets hope there is a decent breeze so he can get home on time!! The downside of not having any assistance other them there wooden things that clutter the deck up!!

Last year’s arrival was against tide and wind. A helpful motor cruiser lent a hand I seem to remember.   As it was a warm and sunny day no one minded the delay. New Bishop this year I believe?

If it is Olive, which I am sure it is, her electric motor is really quite good. On Tuesday we motored across Barton head to wind that was mean 25mph gusting 36. Lunched at Gays followed by a lively reach to the Ant with 3 reefs in. The mast was dropped at Paddy's prior to crossing Barton. The reason being it has been calculated that the mast windage area is about the same as a fully rigged Wayfarer.

I know Olive well, spent much of my formative years aboard, what with the then owner's daughter working for Penthouse and having lots of well formed girly friends!  Dear Sally was a legend!

Often wondered where you were educated Peter! I have always thought that the "hands on" approach is better than the more academic! Those years must have been most "Formative"
