Where Are All The Caribbeans?

In the 1970s I had three holidays on Caribbeans - all on the Thames. When I eventually made it to the Broads a couple of years ago I was expecting to see many of these Frank Wilds classic GRP boats as the broads were their home. I appreciate there are none left in hire, but thought many would now be in private hands. In a whole week on the northern broads I only spotted the rear end of one tucked up the back of a marina in Horning.

I saw Bermuda's even Calypsos, plenty of the contemporary Bounty Buccaneer 37s and you can't go anywhere without seeing a Hampton Safari, but where are all the Caribbeans?

I'm back again next year. Can anyone tell me where to look?

There are a few, I think, around, on the middle Thames. I saw a couple last week between Staines and Sunbury.

Also at least one live aboard that seems to linger around Brundall.
