Moored where the day boats are normally moored? Perhaps being hired for the day for a "festive" party? When we had her for a week in Sept, she certainly ticked all the boxes!

Ironically, the post talks about 'pulling focus' and yet they haven't.

The foreground and background are both in focus as though the image was shot on a phone and almost as though the author didn't actually understand the term......

Oh wow! I love that. Someone suggested that even though they might not be running the Santa Cruises again this year, it would have been nice if NBD had decorated one of their trip boats and moored it by the bridge.

Anything Christmassy to boost our spirits please is more than appreciated.  I didn't realise how good it looks at night from the road.  Good PR.

Totally agree, I wonder how many smiles this has given folk. A small gesture like this goes along way in helping to lift spirits in time like this. Herbert woods have also given nhs staff a 10% blue light card discount all year I've not tried every yard but they are the only ones we found that did. So big up Herbert woods.

Yes, we have used the blue light card to book the  holiday in Oct 22 and also for Sep 23 with HW, a worthwhile saving on both holidays!

It is indeed Chris, we used it 3 times this year and saved quite a bit. A nice gesture. Sadly we were to late booking for 22 and the boats we wanted were all ready booked.

Rather then start a new thread I thought I'd post this here. Woods are offering a 15% discount for boats hired in March. We've also benefited from the additional 10% blue light card discount offered by Woods ( I'm not sure if they are offering the blue light card this year ) but a potential 25% discount is very tempting.
