oldgregg
That's presumably not a Nanni-engined boat you have, though? With the Nannis there's a proprietary multiplug for the dash harnesses.

You can get one out in under an hour, but putting it back and getting it running, as well as aligned, is about an hour and a half. The reason why you got it out in the first place, might take a few days in the workshops!

For instance, a socket set needs to be imperial. The one I had was metric.
oldgregg
But again that would apply to a BMC and not a modern Nanni, where the base engine would have been manufactured in Japan and then marinised in France.

I give up. I was just trying to make a point of know your engine, know your craft and know what bits do what. it does not matter where it’s made but if a throttle cable comes off, hose clip disappears and you ain’t got two on each end just looking at it won’t help.
