YnysMon
Isn't there a bowls green right next to the beer garden of the Chedgrave White Horse? Â

SteveO
Always fancied playing bowls in my declining years. They do short mat indoor bowls in our village hall but I would prefer to be out on a bowling green - ideally next door or attached to a good pub. SteveO
I seem to remember that the Bell at Salhouse used to have one, but looking at Google Maps it doesn't seem to be there now. Even the one by the Fur and Feather at Woodbastwick is looking neglected and I suspect, no longer in use.
floydraser
Be careful, bowls is a very dangerous sport in that it could take over your life. Both my parents and parents in law took it up in later life and they all developed busy social lives and made friends with a lot of very nice people. Parents never in when you want something. Christmas cards galore in December. Who wants that?  1
Guest
I am more of an Athletics man myself but it was good to see that England are into the final in the womens triple lawn bowls and therefore win at least a silver medal, we hope they can achieve gold however
