Just joined so would like to say hello to you all.

I've booked a week in October for a fishing holiday with my son (19). We've booked the Alpha Firefly out of Brundall. I've downloaded the EA booklet for the Broads but any local help would be appreciated for the southern broads. We are not pike fishermen!! (mainly carp). I've read on another forum that the otter release program that was undertaken a few years ago in the southen broads has had an impact on the fish stocks - is this so?

This will be my third time on the Broads. First time I got a big boat from Richardsons in Stelham in August 06, that was interesting! :Stinky The second time I rented a house in Wroxham in April 08 that came with it's own day boat and that was great fun but out of season for fishing.

So I'm really looking forward to this holiday (but without the misses and a teenage son I'll guess I'll do more work then expected or more cheers  cheersbar and he'll do more :cry
