Train disruption due to flooding today

Recommended Posts

Yes, Brundall did get a wetting, Just glad my car was ok in Brooms yard.

We came down the Waveney shortly afterwards, and up the new cut.  When passing through Somerleyton, the swing bridge was permanently open, with the height gauge reading 6 ft 6 inches, the lowest i`ve ever seen it there, and Lightning has an air draught of ^ft 10 inches. The first time ever we`ve needed a swing bridge to be open for us to pass. But then again, we always hire boats designed to navigate ALL broads bridges, so buying a boat the same was logical.
