ranworthbreeze
The new cut flooded is causing disruption to trains into Lowestoft.http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/video_train_disruption_at_haddiscoe_due_to_flooding_expected_until_at_least_midday_1_3815608RegardsAlan
Hylander
Thank God we are on floating pontoons at St Olaves. I feel sorry for the poor people on the boats on the Cut.
Boaters
Would not like to be in that spot,I think I would move away as soon as possible as I would not want to be around if that bank went any more ! I can't see them having trains running by one o clock somehow.?
JawsOrca
They do know the train tracks on the other side of the cut don't they?

Hylander
If you look at the side where the track is, from a distance it certainly looks in better nick that this side. Someone on the radio said Brundall and Cantley were flooded.
Baitrunner
Pictures on the Beeb web site of Brundall, Reedham and the Yacht station at Yarmouth. That was high water!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-29719318
SPEEDTRIPLE
Yes, Brundall did get a wetting, Just glad my car was ok in Brooms yard. We came down the Waveney shortly afterwards, and up the new cut. When passing through Somerleyton, the swing bridge was permanently open, with the height gauge reading 6 ft 6 inches, the lowest i`ve ever seen it there, and Lightning has an air draught of ^ft 10 inches. The first time ever we`ve needed a swing bridge to be open for us to pass. But then again, we always hire boats designed to navigate ALL broads bridges, so buying a boat the same was logical.
