I agree Rod, really nice lines and well proportioned, clearly not a lot of use above Wroxham or Potter but that's a known before you hire / buy a boat like that so clearly anybody using one would already have accepted that. I think the areas under those low bridges are nicest visited by tender anyway, particularly Beccles and up as one can get way up past Geldeson then.

The Doris is now moored up at Oulton Broad yacht station. Someone has been busy, she looks a lot smarter than when I last saw her moored at Beccles!

Certainly wouldnt want his mooring bill, side on mooring at the Harbour!!! Surely there is some rich Yank with money to spare who could turn this former beauty into something special.

Second year on the trot they have been on OBYC - As for the mooring bills - very cheap over the winter... VERY, so much so that most of the owners who use the service book the maximum amount of years ahead. Even side on it wont be much
