Its the end of days I tell you!! All over Norfolk babies are being born with six fingers!! Oh.,......,

We had another crew member enter this world on Sunday, born in Norfolk, and I can assure you that he has four fingers on each hand! Possibly because the straight family tree now has a fork in it, my daughter married a Welshman!

I was luckier with the eclipse in 1999.

 

I was down on the South Coast and although it was cloudy, it was only hazy cloud, so the black disc could be clearly seen passing across the sun without special glasses.

 

I know that sounds risky, but I filmed it on a Hi8 camcorder, so I was looking at the LCD viewfinder screen.

 

It's the first near total eclipse I've ever seen in my life, and I have to admit, it was quite a strange feeling, with such a level of darkness for a minute or so around midday.
