Did anyone watch this programme last night, the Guy was restoring a 1940s motor cruiser with no budget and limited skills. He used a crowd funding type website to enlist help. Worth watching.

By chance, we watched most of it, but there looks like a lot more restoration is required... I wonder what it would look like after a harsh winter, when ice forms in the gaps and joints in the decking.

I love to see these old boats restored, but that project was a huge one to take on. Good to see he kept most of the original layout.

Have to agree, the boat looked rotten to the core at the beginning and at the end it still looked rotten but with a fresh coat of flaking paint. Fair play to the guy for taking it on, its a shame his romance jumped ship. I wouldnt have thought he would get much more than he paid for it still

Yes I loved the cave in Wyre Forest Grand Design, coming from Kidder myself, I also loved listening to them all talking. Wyre Forest is a very special place. Nostalgic.

When they trailed the episode, I was thinking Kinver Edge where there are cave houses I remember as being inhabited, but that's over the county border Doh!
