Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,

a friend of mine back here in Germany is looking for a Norwich Plainhead canary.

His english is basicly non existent, as my knowledge about canaries.

I only found the Scottish Norwich Canary Club. Has any of you an Idea where to buy 

one of this rare flying Diamonds ?

Sorry for the confusion I may have caused, Frank, but I thought you were joking?

Norwich City Football Club are known as the "Canaries" but they're not flying at the moment!

Given that "and now for something completely different" could lead one towards thinking about Norwegien Blue Parrots, your confusion was perfectly understandable John.

Now what I need to work out is whether the "Completely different" tag was an intentional lead or whether Python isn't that big in Germany!  Frank?

I remember once seeing an episode of Python when I was in Germany on business and it was very strange to watch with me not speaking the language

mind you Python can be strange when you do speak the language 

but I love it
