Course it is Jim, Downeasters are based on east coast US Lobster fishing boats, one of the reasons we chose the Antares is that it's based on an Atlantic coast fast potter. Fishing boat heritage, you can't beat it.

After our VIPS tour 2009 while we were moored at st Olaves i spotted a very stunning Bates moored there from the looks of her she was either being refurbed 5 Jamarc was since then i have been looking all over to find some info on her

I first looked on Craig's data base

then i started looking on websites until i came across her on YOUTUBE!!! watch the clips man do those twin TD's sound sweet

Bates have always made some stunning cruisers & shes one of them
