Hi Alan,
They closed the Tesco Express here in Troon, folks can count up here! It was dearer than Waitrose, and always empty of customers.
Thankfully the locals support all the private local shops here.
Which brings me back to the thread, the pub requires to be well supported to survive! IMHO.

Hi Howard,
Sorry, I meant I have seen the S&P letters at Thorpe St Andrew, is what I meant. I remember TFI before the fire. It was the RAF Pilots local for many in WW2 I believe.

Hi Howard,
The pub along Thorpe Green, Kings Arms/Head? from memory had the two letters in iron as wall supports S & P.you could see from the river.
Iain.
I will second Alan's remarks and THIRD Gracies! You have been warned young Alan....PICS or else!
Seriously, I hope all goes well for the transfer tomorrow.
Iain.
JM, I think its compulsory now that all Posties do their rounds with shorts on! Either that, or our Postie is from Essex also! A hardy breed indeed!
Iain.
Guid lad Alan, I agree with you about the carnage, that still happens, even with a Pilot there!!!
Seriously, it was a very handy cam to look at. Hopefully it will be reinstated soon, or for next years season start.
Iain.
You didn't go in OFTEN enough Ray, I had know problem understanding him when he said, another pint of Adnams! A true gent was Norman, lovely bloke, you just waited a wee bit longer to be served.
