  7. Hi Alan, Knock it down a build a decend PUB not gastro pub. Well one can dream Iain
  8. 10 for 2 as I type Ian, well done Broad 301 test wickets now.Correction...10 for 3 ! Warner out, wow Iain
  9. Like many I guess, it was your own first hire you never forget and I am no exception. Sun Glory from Porter & Haylett. Little did I think when I was driving 450 miles or so would I become hooked on a holiday. Thousands of miles later driving, and my love of Broads boating has never waned. Me taking the rays in late March! . Iain.
  10. Depends JM the dosage strength! It was a retired painter decorator and a holiday coach driver who goes all over Europe recommended them to me. Yes they can have side effects, just watch the dosage. Like all meds, if things aint right, stop and seek proper medical advice as they say. Iain.
  11. Correct Andy, Bob, IMHO take it further so others don't end up with the grief you have suffered. Hope they are nicked! Iain
  12. Oh I dunno, I played off 4 (Golf) many moons ago! Iain.
  13. Hi Andy, It was a favourite pint of mine, not so good in bottled version. I first heard it called OSH in the Ribs of Beef in Norwich. For those who don't know what OSH stands for, its Old Speckled Hen a very nice strongish ale. Sigh, me on my Becks Blu 0% lol Iain.
  14. Hi Saily and welcome to the NBN Forum I haven't closed an account, ....yet and I think you would have to have done something very bad indeed. As for talking too much, sorry we have a very young lady on here who when she is in full flow on her high heels, can keep up with the best of them. I am sure you know who I mean when you have been lurking. Enjoy the forum. Iain
  15. In case there are those that don't, here is a link to explain it! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random-access_memory Iain
  16. Drink enough pints of OSH Andy and you will be typing utter gibberish soon. Iain.
  17. Hi Alan, Turn your bow into a seacrete hull. toss in a few cwt/kilos of concrete ballast that will stop you swinging round Iain
  18. Come on happy snappers, as a certain Norwich City owner would say...Lets be having ya! Iain.
  19. Without nicking Alan's thread, I was anti toys till I had on a boat three years ago, now I will find it very difficult not to hire without them fitted on my hire boat. For us older folks who are not as nimble as once were, they are a god send IMHO. Iain.
  20. No matter what ever Windows or Apple system you are on, if all else fails, may I recommend this one!!! Iain.
  21. I use Glucousamine Sulphate tabs for the old knees, I suffer from Psoriatic Arthritis, and the tabs do help, especially in the winter. (Double the dosage then) Whisky has more sugar in the blended bottles rather than a straight malt I believe. Adnams Broadside is high in sugar I would think, but hey we only live once! Good luck with the diet, will power is certainly helpful. I stopped smoking that way. Iain.
  22. Hi Alan, So pleased you liked the Summercraft Yard, we hired there from 1976 till 1984. Beautifully kept still I see. Yes you would do very well to purchase it IMHO. I have seen boats come to moor at 9am in July, and that is them for the day. I think though, many have been up all night trying to catch the little silver darlings, and are stocking up and having the daytime siesta. Each to their own as they say. That mooring at Wroxham you stopped at, would a local please confirm on the port side is ok, but the Hotel starboard side is reserved? All very confuzzling. Sounds like mum n dad are buying you Bowthrusters for Christmas lol Iain
