  5. Whilst the beauty of Loch Lomond will never change, IMO since it became a NP it is NOT the place I visited when younger. Too many regulations? My worry about the Broads is a group with a lot of clout. NSPB. I have not become involved in the discussion, and this is a one off reply. You may well not agree with any of it, but its how I see things going. Maybe though, NOT in my lifetime. Iain

  15. Hi Folks, Well on Tuesday it was time to see about upgrading our two mobile phones, both just used as a phone and for texting, mine a bit of internet. Anyway I have now been upgraded to EE4G, aye right, in a city maybe. However, I have put this thread here to warn you, that changing over is not as straight forward as you think it should be. It has taken the best part of forty hours plus an hours phone call to EE (awaiting to see if recompence for long BT call) as both phones would not text, mine would not phone but could access the internet. Things are working now...I hope! So if you are due soon for upgrade, be prepared for bugs ....now where have I been reading about things like that the past few days? Eh Skipper! and Alan! Iain

  17. Don't tell me Alan they are now fitting homing chips to spiders now Iain
  18. I am afraid you lot would not have survived in my trade. Working in very old georgian and victorian houses, spiders were a regular occurance! Big wans too! Because I live in a very sandy soil area they feed well and grow to a fair old size. John (The Admiral) has the perfect solution, conkers in a bowl. They don't like for some reason and do a runner! Otherwise its a Size 11 or a jar to remove them. Iain
