Thank you Andy for a quite brilliant holiday tale. You really should write a book at some point in your life. You have also put me into countdown mode for next months trip down to the Broads! Thank you once again for sharing with us all. Iain.
Hi Mr P, IF tides are low, it can be quite shallow at Rockland Staithe, but a lovely quiet spot with power if you require it. To me, if you have a fortnight, trips up to Norwich & Beccles would be on my list of visits. Whatever you decide, have a great holiday. Iain.
To me, the "Boom time" if you can call it that, I believe was in the 70's and 80's. Double the hirecraft and probably the same in boatyards too. The old Hoseasons brochure when it plopped through the letter box early November was as thick if not thicker than present day BT Phone books! Iain.
Oh I have played that excellent course, spoiled only by the racecourse rails you have to limbo under. The rough there is deffo on the thick side! Iain.
Hi Monica, Think you can block the car Reg by using Edit on your Windows Picture. Select the pic if in My Pictures. The upper menu you will see EDIT it will give you a pic of your car, use the pencil and BLACK it out and save, Then you should have the car without the reg showing. A bit long winded, sorry, but its the way I would do it. Iain
Hi John, The original pic I sent to Craig, think I took that up at Coltishall first night.I will try and have a delve through old snaps and see what I can find for you. Iain.
Hi John, Could not agree more!! When we had her, I got a shock when pushed the throttle forward once out the then 5mph to 6mph outside Wroxham. The Bow lifted ! lol. In those days, there was no heating in the forward cabin, so I let the girls have the saloon! Iain.
6ft 9" MM it says on Richos site. I hired one like that, its now Captain Joshies, Braveheart was Ritaline1 and I am sure it was less than 6ft 9" then. Iain
