  5. Hi Bryan, We bring Scottish Water purely for making ice (our water being so soft compared to Norfolk water) for the Malt Whisky. Otherwise, like you, use what is there. Iain
  6. Young Alan, I can switch from silly to serious at the touch of my typo finger. I have watched a member with a sort of car connection do this for years! Life would become pretty boring if we all became serious on here IMHO! Iain
  7. Hi Alan, I am pleased to report that "Eric Morecombe" Bartholemew is back in his rightful place on the seafront. No pic, sorry, nae parking lol The place was very busy! Iain

  15. Their hand Paul? Iain
  16. For some of us with a 400+ miles drive ahead. I had to be back at the yard on the Friday nights. Long before the By Pass was open. I had to go round the Ring Road, this was best negotiated at 5am or so in the morning, which also made the A47 and A17 much easier drives. Now, I still go back to the yard the night before, and take the car to a nice eating place. But I don't need to hurry home, now that we are retired. I like the idea of overnighting, just never did it. Iain
  17. Brill ODI spoiled by the daft rules for cutting the game short! Time for the Duckworth / Lewis to be changed IMO Iain
  18. While I still have this gammy leg I have the spare time till Wimbledon, The Open Golf and our Ruby Wedding. Then the Alan's will get on fine Iain
  19. I see MM, they added Roses Lime Juice to it? Iain
  20. Hi Ray, After you click View New Content, on the left you will see different options. I use the last 24 hours one. Hope that helps. Iain.
  21. Now that the van has gone, the arch looks bigger than it has been for a while. The river certainly looks lower, from over 400 miles away ! Iain
  22. Well a big run chase indeed. I hope Peter Willey's son gets his chance soon. He's a pretty nippy lefttie bowler, and can give it a fair old whack with the bat also. Its moving up a level though. Iain.
  23. Hi Monica, I would not like to bowl on that wicket, its a batsman's paradise! Chasing a big score should still be getable at the Oval. I must say though, I have not been overly impressed with Jordan's bowling today. Iain
  24. Does anyone know who owns that White Van that is parked every day and blocks our view of the Bridge on the Herbert Woods web cam. It's most annoying!! Grrrrrrrr!!!! If anyone does know, please drop Gracie a mail so she can go and sort them out! One Stilleto should surfice! Iain
  25. Well round two this afternoon/evening, hopefully, and no rain! I am of course talking about the second ODI England v New Zealand at the Kia Oval. Time for my lunch before battle commences. If anything half as good as Tuesday's match, we are in for a treat! Just hope it stays dry! Iain.
